How We Authenticate

1) Sourcing & screening
We purchase from trusted suppliers, private collections, and long-term partners. Items are checked against internal records to confirm model, year, and expected materials.

2) Expert multi-point review
A trained authenticator examines:

• Leather/grain, glazing, and edge paint

• Stitching and stitch count

• Hardware weight, finish, and engravings

• Logo stamps, fonts, and placement

• Zippers, lining, labels, and country codes

• Date/serial codes and production marks

• Measurements, construction, symmetry, and wear patterns

• UV/blacklight and macro detail checks

3) Second sign-off
A second expert reviews the file before the item goes live.

4) Technology where it helps
When a brand and model are supported, we run an Entrupy scan and attach a digital certificate to your order.

What “Entrupy Verified” Means

• The item has been scanned using Entrupy’s AI-based device and passed their authenticity check.

• You receive a digital Entrupy certificate with a unique ID you can verify online.

Not every product is Entrupy verified. Some brands, models, and vintages aren’t supported. In those cases, the piece still goes through our full expert inspection and ships with our Modena Luxe Certificate of Authenticity. The absence of an Entrupy badge does not mean an item is unverified—only that Entrupy isn’t applicable for that piece.

If a product purchased from Modena Luxe is ever proven inauthentic by a recognized third-party authenticator, we will issue a 100% refund of the purchase price and original shipping once the item is returned.

How to submit a claim

1. Email support@modenaluxe.com or call +1 (682) 366-7569 with your order number.

2. Provide a written report from a reputable service (e.g., Entrupy, a brand boutique, or a well-known independent authenticator).

3. Our team reviews within 3–5 business days and sends a prepaid return label if approved.

Claims must be submitted by the original purchaser. We may decline reports from unrecognized services or those lacking sufficient detail.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I request Entrupy for a specific item?
If the brand/model is supported and the condition allows a reliable scan, we’re happy to run Entrupy before shipment. Contact support@modenaluxe.com.

Do vintage items qualify?
Yes. Many vintage pieces are authenticated by expert review; some may also qualify for Entrupy depending on model and materials.

Are you affiliated with the brands you sell?
No. We are an independent reseller. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

What if I plan to resell later?
Keep your Modena Luxe Certificate of Authenticity and any Entrupy certificate; both support future resale value.

Do you accept outside opinions?
We consider reports from recognized services that include clear findings and photos. We cannot accept informal social media opinions or unsigned notes.

Transparency Notes

• We describe condition honestly and show detailed photos so you can buy with confidence.

• Pre-owned items may show minor variations consistent with age and use; please review images and measurements carefully.

• We never list items that fail our checks.
